Ok, so this isn't my back yard, but it is just on the outskirts of my hometown... that I miss very much right now. The mountains, the high altitude air, the ability to just walk two miles out of town and immediately be in nature.... Oh, mon Dieu.
I am excited to one day see your hometown... the mountains far off in the background remind me greatly of the mountains I shoot oh so often in my photos, here. It's beautiful, the tones of blue struck me very strong in this... both the mountains and the sky. To be perfect honest with you, I don't think the photo would be nearly as strong without the telephone wires - I think they really draw the eye back and bring out the mountains, their beauty which contrasts with the beaten up cars in the foreground. I like the light too!
My only critique of this photo is the lack of size

it should be a lot bigger - you can't really enjoy the details. The picture is very nice - I would love to walk among old cars like that - especially American cars Colours are very good too.

Thank you, dear! Perhaps I'll try to make it a little bigger... but I don't know if it will work in Photoshop, it might look too pixellated... but I will try, just so you can see some more details!
Tee hee, I've been getting comments about the small size... should I change that? Thank you, me lovely! I really, really appreciate the wonderful comments!
And I am SO excited to show you one day... I think you'll really love it. People aren't paranoid about artists doing their thing in public, because the town is FULL of photographers, painters, sculptors who sometimes do their work out in the parks and street corners.
Yeah, but I no longer have the original.... as I already erased it from my camera's memory, and this was taken so long ago that I only have it on a CD now.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
